Snow Jazz Gastein - a festival „of the highest level“
»Latino America« is the theme of the 9th event of the Jazz Festival – »Snow Jazz Gastein«, which is taking place from the 12th to the 21th of March.
The Gasteiner jazz festival in snow changes the holiday region every year into the „Jazz stronghold” of Austria. In 2010 there are 20 concerts being given by both international and national artists to the theme "I love Paris". Visitors can enjoy the festival up to altitudes of 2,200m: Concerts are played during the day in Gastein’s Ski Huts, and in the evenings the hotels, at the woodworks and the Congress House.
Snow Jazz is a tightrope walk of the “highest level”, between the thermal spas and skiing pleasure, amongst the beautiful nature of the Gasteiner valley and contemporary jazz.
